Bowling Green Family Christmas

We went to Bowling Green on Friday for Christmas with Ben's parents. That evening Caleb whipped our booties again playing Mexican Dominos. It is a fun, off-shoot of regular dominos. Max was excited to see the neighbor dog, a German Shepherd named Rex, and they raced up and down the fence barking at each other. Jim, Lori, and the kiddos came over on Saturday. The boys had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. Ben's grandparents also came down from Hodgenville to spend time with us, since none of the young ones would be up on Christmas Day this year. Then we had a grand feast! Donna made the most delicious Chocolate Pie with a decadent meringue that was scrumptious! The kids even ate fairly well. After dinner, was present opening time! Boy was the paper flying with six kids and six adults opening gifts. We tried to go by youngest to oldest, but sometimes Abby helped us out before it was our turn. She enjoyed opening the presents this Christmas and had even more fun with the giant gift bag that she could fit inside.
