Winter Clouds

Check out the cool clouds that I saw coming home from Caleb's school on Wednesday. I happened to have the camera in the car. I looked at the internet and found out they were Altocumulus clouds which are middle level layered clouds. They often occur in sheets or patches with a wavy, rounded masses or rolls or rippled elements. Which is exactly what it looked like all over the entire sky. It said it may produce light showers and that Altocumulus clouds usually form by convection in an unstable layer aloft, which may result from the gradual lifting of air in advance of a cold front. Thought I'd throw in a little trivia with my pictures.

Last night we had our annual Petitt/Peterson Christmas. We always go to the Petitt's for dinner and gift giving the week before Christmas. We celebrate Adam's birthday too because his birthday is December 21st. The boys had a ball together. We gave Adam a Webkin for his birthday and Caleb showed him all about Webkins World on the internet. They played all sorts of Webkins games and decorated Adam's Webkin's room. Ben and Paul helped keep the boys running and jumping for hours playing with a couple of soft footballs in the house. They sat on 2 couches on opposite sides of the room and threw the balls back and forth to each other. The boys tried to intercept the ball and tackle the Daddys. They were worn out by the time we got home at 11pm and slept until 9am this am!
Heading on the Bowling Green/Henderson journey for the weekend. Going to Bowling Green when Ben gets off work Friday and staying for a couple of days. Having Christmas with his folks and family before heading to Henderson. Then we will have the Ford Family Christmas at Clint's on Sunday. Mom works on Monday, so we are heading back home on Christmas Eve. We enjoy having the tradition of the kids at home for Christmas morning. Kevin is coming back with us for Christmas, he so enjoys watching the boys open their presents. They love their Uncle KK! Stay tuned for Christmas pictures.
