Caleb Going Green

Caleb had to write a poem about "Green" in his first grade class this week. I loved it and had to share.

Green is swingy vines and tiny frogs.
Green is the sound of parakeets talking in a cage.
Green is the smell of bananas on the counter.
Green tastes like M&M's that are the peanut kind.
Green feels smooth when you touch a lizard's body.

I see you guys get green bananas in Paducah, too.
