Finally posting on Florida vacation

We went to Port St. Lucie, Florida last week for Troy's graduation and our summer vacation. We had to hit the beach as soon as we arrived, so the boys could play in the waves for awhile and search for seashells. We went to Fort Pierce beach the first day. The waves were very calm, but it was super HOT so we didn't stay long.
The next beach day, we went to Bathtub Reef. This was a cool beach that dad used to take Kevin and I to when we were younger. It was demolished in the hurricanes in 2004. They just re-opened it a couple of weeks ago. There was supposed to be super snorkeling there at the coral reef. The water was very shallow for a long way out and the corals were close. But the water was kind of cloudy and full of seaweed that kept tangling around our ankles and legs.

Cody was excited to snorkel for the first time. Here is Caleb snorkeling.

The boys had a blast building sandcastles and playing in the waves.

It was a fun relaxing day. So nice to sit back and watch the waves roll in.
